The Australian Mathematics Competition

A solid foundation for the future

The lessons learned in mathematics at school provide a solid foundation for our children’s future, providing them with essential skills they can use for the rest of their life.

The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) was introduced in 1978 as the first competition of its kind in schools in Australia. Since then, the majority of Australian secondary schools have participated and there have been around 14 million entries both in Australia, throughout the Pacific and South East Asia.

Proud sponsors of an event that celebrates learning

The principal aim of the AMC is to make mathematics exciting and inspiring for all students from year 3 to year 12. The values and aims of the AMC align with our goal to improve the financial literacy of one million kids by 2015, which is why we are proud to be the principal sponsor of the AMC for the next three years.

By encouraging children’s love of maths, we can help create financially savvy future generations, providing a more secure future for Australia.
